Intent Of This Blog

This blog is intended to be my avenue for sharing encouraging words with others. Hopefully, these thoughts will help each of us in our daily walk with the Lord and, if necessary, shake us up and move us to action by applying God's word in our lives. Some posts will be short, some long.

It is my hope that whatever I choose to post, God's word will shine through in each message and that the words spoken will resonate with each one reading. And if it so happens that these things strike a chord with you, then please feel free to share it with others. Enjoy.

" Psalm 60:11-12 NKJV Do you know what it is to be delivered by God? If you're a Christian, that answer is "Yes!" and you know the beauty of being delivered out of the hand of your adversary. Focus

Focus While doing some personal study and reflection this morning I had a realization: All things in this world tend to fade away in an instant when our focus is on our Lord. There's a peace that comes when that shroud is lifted and we metaphorically see the beauty of our Lord before us. Purpose becomes clear, duty becomes an anticipated objective, fighting to go home becomes a welcome obstacle. Strengthened by the might of the Lord we stand up straight and look the coming issues of life right in the eye, ready to take on whatever comes, knowing that while in this wilderness of life our Lord is ever with us as a pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.
